Introduction To Requests

The TVA request management function is a powerful way to request services and to coordinate support functions within an organization. These requests may be on managed assets, for coordinating repair and maintenance, may be related to buildings and facilities, or may be generalized requests for support and service.

The requests function is workflow driven, where users may submit a request for support, and the system will start the request process, ranging from request submittal and approval, on through tasking and completion of the request.

As the requests function is integrated into other modules within TVA, a request on an asset will impact the status of the asset, while historical requests may be reviewed at any time. This provides a single point for aggregating maintenace and calibration activities, to document work performed, and to identify team time committements and impacts.
