Introduction to Orders

The order management function within TVA supports a close integration to the warehouse management functions, to aid in the tracking of orders for inbound material, for managing the removal of items from inventory, and to simplify user requests for inventory items. The order management function also supports an external order identification to simplify the tracking and management of orders managed via external systems, providing a single point of visibility for order processing.

The orders function provides search, dashboard, and management functions, depending on a user's role within the organization, and orders provide a consolidated view of activities executing during the processing of the order. For external orders, the order shows a simplified workflow to simply provide tracking and visibility.

The order management function also provides a quick submit process for users, simplifying the order creation process to a short, simple, guided process for the individual.
